What is Halfspire?

Halfspire is a website for finding independently produced creative media, like webcomics and indie TV series. Unlike other streaming services and content platforms, we focus less on the work of major entertainment companies and more on new and creative stories from emerging artists and storytellers.

How old do you have to be to use Halfspire? Is it safe?

To create your own Halfspire account, you need to be at least 13 years old. When a user signs up, we ask for their date of birth so we can show appropriate content and comply with local regulations on youth protection. This information is not used for anything else.

If you'd like to allow your child to access content on Halfspire, you can let them use your account (preferably under supervision). We're working on a feature that allows you to create separate profiles with their own individual content restrictions - stay tuned!

How do age ratings work on Halfspire?

Videos on Halfspire (and all Halfspire Originals, TV series, and movies) usually have age ratings. You can find out more about age ratings for video content here.

Comics and other types of non-video titles on Halfspire generally use content advisories instead - meaning that potentially offensive/triggering/inappropriate content is labelled. Depending on the nature of the content, age restrictions may be added by Halfspire.
