Welcome to Halfspire! This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information. Halfspire is owned by Studio Countdown Intl (sometimes referred to as "Studio Countdown" in this document).

"Halfspire Services" refers to Halfspire.com, the Halfspire apps, and official Halfspire social channels. We will be referring to Halfspire Services and other services from Studio Countdown collectively as "Studio Countdown Services" in this document.

If you choose to use any Halfspire Services, you are agreeing to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Services. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy, or as described in additional terms that may apply to your usage of specific Services (addendums).

If you do not accept these terms, please discontinue your use of the Halfspire Services.

Studio Countdown may collect the following data from you via Halfspire Services:

• Your device/network's public IP address

• Your country

• Your email address (provided by you when you sign up)

• Your preferred name (such as a nickname or first name provided by you when you sign up)

• Your full name, payment information, and billing address (provided by you when you make a purchase or sign up for a subscription)

Our use of this data is limited to providing Services, maintaining the security of Services, and improving the user experience. Your country is also used to determine what content should be visible to you in case of geolocation-based licensing/legal restrictions. Additionally, the following policies apply to certain data types:

• Your public IP address is only used to enforce security measures (such as bans) and to automatically determine your country.

• Your payment information is only used to process payments and is stored by our partner Stripe, a licensed payment processing and financial services company. The first 12 digits of your credit/debit card number as well as the security code (CVC/CVV) are redacted and cannot be seen/read/copied by us.

• Your billing address is only used for payment processing in combination with your other payment information and to confirm your country of residence in certain cases.

Retention

Data is stored for as long as necessary to provide our Services to you. You can contact us via email at [e-mail] to request the removal of your data. For security reasons, you must contact us using the email address on your Halfspire account.

If you've previously spent money on Halfspire, keep in mind that parts of your payment information may be partially retained by Stripe in order to allow them to comply with regulations on payment processing and financial services.

Disclosure and sharing

Halfspire Services rely on certain third-party providers to store and process server-stored data. Their terms may apply. Currently, these providers are:

• MongoDB Atlas

• Google Cloud

• Google Workspace

• Freshworks

• Stripe

Data protection & security

Your data is processed in accordance with internal security policies as well as local regulations in Germany, and we only work with the aforementioned trusted third-parties to process data.

Cookies

Cookies are hidden files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory. We use cookies for security purposes (via Cloudflare), and some of our listed service providers may add third-party cookies.

Children's privacy

Studio Countdown does not knowingly collect the personal information of children under the age of 13 without the prior consent of their parent or guardian. If you believe we have unknowingly collected the information of a child under the age of 13 who did not have consent from the parent or guardian, please send an email with details to [e-mail]. If your case only applies to Halfspire Services, you may alternatively send an email to [e-mail].

Halfspire Services specifically do not knowingly and willingly collect the personal information of children under the age of 13 except for in the following cases:

• If you create a Kids profile for your child on a Halfspire account where the main account holder is someone who is at least 13 years old

• If we have received verifiable proof of prior consent from a parent or guardian as well as a signed custom agreement (signed by both the parent/guardian and by Halfspire, as well as by the child where applicable by law), and we determine that an exception (within the boundaries of the law) to prior rules is appropriate and/or unavoidable

Changes to this policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
